LPGA*USGA GIRLS’ GOLF OPPORTUNITIES
In 2023, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf reached it’s one-millionth participant since its inception in 1989. The West Michigan LPGA*USGA Chapter has been doing its part for nearly 10 years under the leadership of 2010 National LPGA Golf Professional of the Year, Patti Butcher. Hosted by Scott Lake Golf and Practice Center, 911 Hayes Road, Comstock Park, MI, we look forward to another banner year in 2024. This program engages with girls aged 4-17, at all skill levels from beginner to high school competitors and covers every element of the game in a supportive and fun environment. All West Michigan LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Summer Programs are hosted at Scott Lake Golf and Practice Center, Comstock Park, MI.

GOLF CLINICS

BIRDIE NESTERS
AGES 3-6
This specially developed program is a launch to your daughters love affair with golf. Each session is 45 minutes and clubs will be available. The youngest group will smash tennis balls, with a few golf balls thrown in. The older group will learn how to be autonomous as they play along with you. As always, snacks and drinks will be provided. Although the groups will be small, PARENTS MUST REMAIN DURING CLASS and will assist with safety. These clinics will be broken down by experience and interest level rather than age. If your daughter has been on the golf course and can play holes, please choose experienced. For those new to the game, or still missing the ball sometimes or having only experienced the range, please select newer. Parents do not need to stay for class. SUMMER GOLF CAMP

This comprehensive camp will include full swing, short game, and on course instruction. Groups will be formed based on ability and interest and girls may have zero to extensive experience. This camp is for girls 7 – 13, is focused on fun, camaraderie, and developing a life-long passion for the game. Players will finish with a complete understanding of their golf and what they can do to continue to improve. Snacks, drinks, crafts, prizes, all instruction, range balls and green fees are included in the fee. HIGH SCHOOL PREP CAMP

10 AM - 3:30 PM
This is for competitive girls ages 12 and up. In the morning session from 10 – 12:30, players will focus on drills and skills covering full swing, chipping, pitching, bunker and putting. Additionally, trouble shots and uneven lies will be covered. The afternoon sessions 1 – 3:30, will include 9 holes with cart, reinforcing self and course management strategies, club selection and handling competitive nerves.
